Mountasia Marietta offers the classic entertainment of mini-golf, go-karts and an arcade at an affordable price for families with children of all ages. It's these types of activities that have allowed me to keep a thriving relationship with my teenage son.
We visited Mountasia Marietta most recently in April of 2014 with my mother who was visiting from Arizona, my son and a friend of his. Honestly, it was the first time my son ever invited a friend to go do something. He's very introverted, which is more common among teenagers these days due to the explosion of the electronics and mobile entertainment industry.
I was very pleased when my son finally came out of his shell and repeatedly rode the go-karts. My teenager was smiling and even let me take multiple pictures. That's unheard of for a male teenager.
We also played games in the arcade. My son loves racking up tickets for prizes and I love going head to head at a game of skeeball or basketball. Our most recent visit brought me back down memory lane when me and my mother used to always compete on the racing games. It was a blast from the past, although I don't (selectively) remember her winning last time!
Now that I think about it, I don't think there was a time when my son even looked at his smartphone.
Though we reside on the other side of town, we enjoy going to Mountasia in Marietta. It's convenient because it also allows us to visit friends and family since that's where I grew up! We've even run into family and friends at Mountasia of Marietta from time to time while visiting.
The staff has always been very accomodating as well.
Overall, we enjoy each and every experience at Mountasia of Marietta. That's why we keep coming back, though there are closer similar venues in our area.
