Disclosure: This post is in partnership with US Family Guide and LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta. However, all opinions are my own.
Are your children big LEGO fans? Honestly, I don’t what kid isn’t!
With an 8-year-old Lego Lover in my household, LEGOLAND Discovery Center has been on our family experiences bucket list for some time now! Unfortunately, there is not one located in Houston. As a result, I jumped at the opportunity to pay them a visit on our family trip to Atlanta. The kids were so excited when I finally told them that we were headed there. What kid doesn’t love Lego’s!?!
As an adult, I’m pretty intrigued by the LEGO’s myself as they make them much more cooler today then when I was a kid! So, if you’re in Atlanta don’t miss the opportunity to beat boredom with a visit to this awesome LEGO experience.
Family fun with 2 rides, 10 LEGO build & play zones, a 4D cinema & much more!

Bring your mateys and race your own pirate ship on our aquatic table at NEW Pirate Adventure Island! Come ride Merlin’s Apprentice and Kingdom Quest! Don’t forget to check out local Atlanta landmarks in our MINILAND and learn new building tricks in our Model Builder Academy. Don’t forget to check out one of our five 4D movies, including NEW The LEGO Movie 4D: A New Adventure! It’s the ultimate place for LEGO fans young and old!
We visited on a Sunday afternoon and there was a nice crowd. The line for entry was short and the customer service was thorough. This was our first time at a LEGOLAND Discovery Center and I must say that we were impressed with how much they had to offer. The two family rides they offered were our favorite!
Our second favorite thing was the location. Just a few steps away is a movie theater, so we opted for a Sunday Funday and saw a movie after. We even grabbed a bite to eat from one of many restaurants just across the way.
They made the experience greater by allowing Niah ans KJ to collect stamps throughout the facility because I purchased the Top Secret Mission booklet. This entitled them to a special prize at the end of our visit. You exit via their gift shop where there are tons of cool LEGO products that are hard for the LEGO Lover to pass up on!
Overall, we had a good visit and the kids enjoyed. I think it best suited for toddlers and little kids as my kids are near the cap out age.
